There are no known interactions between aripiprazole and tea or coffee consumption, especially if drinks are not a medium for sipping the drug. Between drinking coffee / tea and taking the medicine, please keep at least 1-2 hours apart. Aripiprazole is an antipsychotic medicine used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and autism. Tea and coffee contain caffeine, which is a stimulant of the nervous system. If your body tolerates caffeine well, there are no contraindications to drink tea or coffee while taking aripiprazole. However, it's worth considering that caffeine can affect sleep and can lead to anxiety or agitation in some people.
