Nolpaza and Mesopral are medicines from the group of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) that inhibit the production of acid in the stomach. Do not take them at the same time. If your doctor has recommended taking PPIs with a probiotic and an antibiotic, you should follow these rules: 1) Nolpaza or Mesopral should be taken on an empty stomach, about 30 minutes before breakfast. 2) There should be a time interval between taking proton pump inhibitors and antibiotics and probiotics. Usually, you should wait at least 2 hours between taking drugs from the group of proton pump inhibitors and antibiotics and probiotics. 3) Take the probiotic and antibiotic as directed by your doctor. Usually, antibiotics should be taken regularly, at regular intervals throughout the treatment period, e.g. every 12 hours 4) Alcohol intake should be avoided during treatment, as alcohol may increase the risk of side effects. If you experience any unwanted side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea or diarrhoea, please contact your doctor, especially if you have gastritis.
