Can Sumamed be given with juice or milk?

In general, it is recommended to avoid the administration of antibiotics simultaneously with dairy products to ensure proper absorption of the antibiotic from the gastrointestinal tract. Sumamed granules for oral suspension are prepared with water. After administration of the suspension, give the child tea or juice to drink so that the medicine does not remain in the mouth. In the case of Sumamed dispersible tablets, the tablet should be reconstituted in at least 30 ml of water, apple or orange juice.
