Is the use of Duphaston, 3 times 10 mg, a necessary dose at 12 weeks of pregnancy if scanty spotting has occurred?

Good morning, Is the use of duphaston 3x1 tablet 10mg a necessary dose at 12 weeks of pregnancy if you have experienced one-day scanty spotting? Yesterday I got such a recommendation in the hospital when I went to check the situation. After finishing the pack, I would continue to take lutein vaginally. I did not have a progesterone level tested, and once when I took lutein I felt terrible after it.

The need to use a drug such as Duhpaston is decided by the doctor who not only collected the anamnesis, but also examined you. Unfortunately, it is not possible to review the recommendations of a gynecologist solely on the basis of your entry. From a pharmaceutical point of view, I can convey information that Duphaston is used, among other things, to reduce the risk of miscarriage. The dose ordered by you in this indication does not differ from the standard. I enclose additional information about the drugs Duphaston and Lutein: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/25619/duphaston-tabletki-powlekane/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/45325/luteina-tabletki-dopochwowe/apteki You may also be interested in our article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/luteina-w-ciazy-a-luteina-na-oczy
