I learned that the use of Metiket Ictamo shampoo can lead to harmful effects - can it be dangerous to use it 4-5 times, or should we talk about months?

I learned that the use of Metiket Ictamo shampoo can lead to harmful effects. It can lead to DNA changes and, consequently, dangerous diseases. How long can the use of this shampoo be harmful? Can it be dangerous to use it after a few 4-5 uses, or should we talk about months?

Does the information on the potential harmfulness of Mediket Ictamo shampoo come from reliable, scientific sources? I do not see the potential danger of using this preparation. Mediket Ictamo contains two active substances - ichthyol (anti-inflammatory, soothing and disinfectant) and pyroctone olamine (anti-inflammatory and antifungal). Shampoo should be used to combat the symptoms of dandruff. If after a long time you do not see the effects and the scalp is still infected, you should seek advice from a dermatologist, as there is a risk of the need for stronger agents. However, I do not think that even a few months of using this shampoo will damage your DNA in any way. On our website you can check the prices and availability of preparations and place an order with collection at the pharmacy or home delivery: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/47467/mediket-ictamo-szampon/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/lupiez-czyli-o-szamponach-przeciwlupiezowych https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/mediket-kosmetyki-na-lupiez-i-skore-lojotokowa
