In the leaflet of the syringe it says that if the medicine is used within 30 days, it can be stored outside the refrigerator at a temperature of up to 25 degrees. However, in the pen leaflet it says to keep between 2 and 8 degrees and there is nothing about these 30 days. Where does this difference come from, since it is the same substance? Can I safely use the medicine I have in my pen if it has been outside the fridge for 2 days?

If the medicine has not been opened, it can be stored outside the refrigerator for 30 days, e.g. in the pharmacy the drug is stored in the refrigerator, however, after its release from the pharmacy, the patient can store the medicine at home at room temperature - but not longer than 30 days. "Ovitrelle 250 micrograms solution for injection can be stored at room temperature (below 25°C) for up to 30 days without the need for re-cooling during this time. The solution should be discarded if it has not been used within these 30 days.'
Thank you for your reply. However, the pen is still closed, it has not been opened in any way. Is it still not possible to use it in such a situation?

No, you should not use Ovitrelle if stored outside the refrigerator. In the Summary of Product Characteristics of Ovitrelle, the manufacturer states that after opening, the preparation should be used immediately. The preparation remains stable for 24 hours provided that it is stored at a temperature of 2° to 8°C. The pen and the pre-filled syringe are not identical products.
