There is no information that any of the ear cleaners is more effective, they all work on a similar principle. Akustone also does not have a significant advantage over other preparations. The difference between the preparations is a different composition, usually they contain vegetable oils, e.g. olive oil, jojoba oil, almond oil (Akustone contains these 3) or mineral oil, i.e. paraffin. All preparations are effective in moisturizing and softening earwax, they are safe.
