Hello, I have heard that metformin can affect the absorption of substances from other medications you take. Does this mean that taking metformin in the evening I should wait before taking other evening medications? Thank you in advance for your help

Not all medicines need to interact with metformin, so this does not mean that you have to take any medicines separately. It all depends on exactly what preparations you are still taking.
