Does it make sense to use Alpicort E if I don't think I have androgenetic alopecia?

Does it make sense to use Alpicort E in my case? Hello, I was recently at the internist and told about the problem with hair loss. Blood tests normal. The doctor said that she did not know why I fell out, but that she could prescribe me a steroid rub. So I got a prescription for "Alpicort E". I read that this drug is used and effective for androgenetic alopecia. I am 19 years old, probably too early for androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata is not either. So I wanted to ask if in my case, there is any sense in using it at all? Won't it hurt me? The rub itself is quite expensive and I would not like to spend money on it unnecessarily.

Alpicort E contains not only a steroid, but also estradiol and salicylic acid. This means that the drug has a fairly wide spectrum of action — both on androgenetic alopecia and of unknown origin. Of course, there is no need to use drugs if you are concerned about their effectiveness and price. In my opinion, it is worth looking for a specific reason by asking yourself a few questions: - Do you remember the specific moment when the hair began to fall out stronger? Prolapse can be caused by: infection with high fever (e.g. flu, COVID19), stress episode, hormonal changes (e.g. starting hormonal contraception, childbirth) - Have you performed complete blood counts? Iron or vitamin B12 deficiency anemia, thyroid disease can be the cause of hair loss. Restoration of the norm in morphological studies, as a rule, gives improvement. - What medications are you taking? Some of them may aggravate baldness. - Are there any cases of androgenetic alopecia in the family? This increases the likelihood of it in you, even despite your young age. I enclose an article that lists over-the-counter products that you can try: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/wypadanie-wlosow You can also order them with home delivery - directly through GdziePoLek. I also encourage you to do blood tests. More on this topic here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przygotowac-sie-do-badania-krwi
