Can the appearance of the second line in the HIV test only the next day mean a positive result?
Good morning. I recently did two HIV tests after 11 and 12 weeks. Test simplitud by me. The result after 15 minutes was negative, but on the second day there was a barely visible second line. It is written not to read the result after 20 minutes. Should I repeat the test in the laboratory?I did, also blood results and everything was normal. Alt 19, ast 27, ob 2, crp 0.74. however, I have concerns for the sake of the partner. Please advise.

The appearance of a poorly visible second line 20 minutes after the test does not indicate a positive result. The result should be read within 20 minutes.
