It should not be used on mucous membranes, including the genitals, including the labia. According to the manufacturer: "When using INFECTOSCAB 5% CREAM, care should be taken not to let the cream get into the eyes or mucous membranes (e.g. nasopharyngeal cavity, genital area) or open wounds."
