Good morning, I have a question about the order in which you take your medication. I start the day with letrox right after waking up on an empty stomach. I have now been prescribed Rybelsus, at which the leaflet shows that you should wait min. 30 minutes before your first meal or taking other medications. Can I take these medicines at the same time? Is it first rybelsus and then letrox? Or is it the other way around? Thank you and best regards

Letrox and Rybelsus are prescription medications, when using them, you should follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor. If not given: Ribelsus should not be taken concomitantly with other medicines. Patients taking Rybelsus should wait min. 30 minutes before a meal, drink or other medication. Letrox should be used for at least 30 minutes. before the first meal. If both medicines are taken in the morning, I would suggest that Rybelsus be used first, and after at least 30 minutes. Letrox, while keeping 30 min. the interval between Letrox and breakfast. Ribelsus can be taken at different times of the day, it is important to use it "on an empty stomach". According to the Food and Nutrition Agency definition, this means "one hour before eating, or two hours after." Given that Ribelsus can affect the total exposure of the body to Letrox when taking these drugs at the same time, thyroid parameters should be monitored.
