If the doctor has examined you, collected an interview from you about your symptoms and general health, it is worth following the recommendations, and if you think they are wrong, because the symptoms instead of stopping have worsened, it is worth consulting him again. It is not recommended to discontinue antibiotics unless there is a specific reason for it. To the best of my knowledge, there are no general contraindications to using a herbal preparation during antibiotic therapy, such as Sinupret, to clear the nose and sinuses. The antibiotic itself acts on bacteria, but does not clear the sinuses and nose. In the case of infections of the nose and sinuses, it is worth cleansing them regularly, e.g. with a nasal spray with sea water. We wrote more about antibiotics here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/fakty-i-mity-o-antybiotykach
