Can Warfin and Neoparin be used simultaneously after discharge from the hospital?

At the discharge from the hospital, my dad was given a list of medications. Saved has warfin 3 mg and neoparin 60mg . Can these drugs be taken at the same time?

No, Warfin and Neoparin should not be used at the same time unless this is clearly recommended by your doctor. Both drugs have an anticoagulant effect, which means that the combination may cause hemorrhage in the patient, which is a threat to health and life. I do not have exact information, e.g. whether before the hospital stay your dad used Warfin regularly and the drug was discontinued, e.g. for the duration of the procedure, or maybe it is a completely new drug, so I can not give full information. As a rule, the drugs Neoparin and Warfin are mutually exclusive and due to the risk of serious side effects from the circulatory system, any doubt related to the use of drugs should be consulted with the attending physician.
