Hi, I have a question whether it is possible that there will be a drug available without a prescription for diabetes in pharmacies and it will work in such a way that after taking the drug will completely cure from diabetes.

Currently, there are no over-the-counter drugs available for diabetes and, to my knowledge, there is no news that there will be any. If you ask about type 1 diabetes, only substances that prolong the period of remission, used at the beginning of the development of the disease, appear on the market. However, in most cases of type 2 diabetes, lifestyle modifications (weight loss, permanent change in eating habits, regular physical activity, alcohol restriction and smoking cessation) are able to effectively slow down or inhibit the development of the disease. Sometimes there is also talk of its "remission" or "withdrawal" - especially in the case of patients after bariatric procedures and patients whose pancreatic cells (producing insulin) are still at a sufficient level. However, these are rather isolated cases of patients, because lifestyle changes in many cases are a multifaceted and, contrary to appearances, very difficult problem.
