What probiotic to choose for recurrent intimate infections?

I take oral hormonal contraception, recently I have a problem with intimate infections. I would like to start using probiotics, but I do not know how to use them, i.e. better before/after menstruation? For how many days? Is it possible to have intercourse during this time? In this case, vaginal or gynaecological oral probiotics will be better? Thank you in advance for your reply.

As a support during recurrent intimate infections, both vaginal and oral probiotics can be used. The length of use varies depending on the specific preparation and described in the leaflet, in most cases there are no special recommendations for taking the product before or after menstruation. It is important that vaginal preparations are not taken during menstruation. Vaginal globules / capsules are used both in prophylaxis, but also when vaginal discharge is observed or a woman is after antifungal or antibacterial treatment. Examples of vaginal probiotics are Lactovaginal https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/42178/lactovaginal-kapsulki-dopochwowe/apteki, Invag https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/38124/invag-kapsulki-dopochwowe/apteki. Oral preparations, like vaginal ones, are recommended for the prevention of intimate infections or after treatment. Here are some examples of oral preparations: Lacibios Femina https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/104871/lacibios-femina-kapsulki/apteki, Trivagin https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/80020/trivagin-kapsulki/apteki, Provag https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/64895/provag-kapsulki/apteki. To sum up, if you observe vaginal discharge or suspect the development of an infection, I suggest using a vaginal probiotic and consulting a gynecologist, if the probiotic is to be used prophylactically, I suggest using the oral form. During the use of probiotics, there are no contraindications to intercourse. Using the links attached above, you can check the price and availability of preparations, book them at the selected pharmacy or order them with home delivery.
