Hello. In the general examination of urine, yeast was detected and 8 days of therapy with Flocofast 100mg was ordered. At what interval from the finished therapy can a mycological examination of the nail plate be performed?

According to reliable sources: "For a mycological examination to be reliable, it should be performed either before starting treatment or after at least a month's break in therapy (this applies to both oral drugs and topical preparations). In addition, the place from where the sample will be taken should not be washed on the day of the test."
