Bleeding before stopping Progesteron Besins - what to do?
Your period occurred on day 24 of your cycle while taking Progesterone Besins. Should I take one more tablet the next day, as in the leaflet, or should I count it as a new cycle and stop taking the medicine?

For the treatment of irregular menstruation, treatment should be used for 10 days per cycle, usually from the 17th to the 26th day. The Summary of Product Characteristics of Progesterone Besisns states that "If the treatment sequence is started too early in a given month, especially before day 15 of the cycle, the cycle duration may be shortened or bleeding may occur". If menstrual bleeding occurred earlier, the first day of bleeding marks the first day of the new cycle, so in this case the last dose of progesterone can be skipped.
