Kidofen duo is given to children from 2 - 5 years (10 - 20 kg): 5 ml 3 to 4 times a day, i.e. approximately every 6 hours. If you gave 5 ml of Kidofen duo at 19.40, after 4 hours it is too early for another dose of the drug. If the child's temperature rises / does not fall despite the administration of antipyretics, additionally there is a malaise, whining, is weak, there is a loss of pharmacy, sleep disturbances, refusing to eat and drink, etc., you should urgently contact your doctor. Only he can decide whether to administer drugs other than paracetamol or ibuprofen to the child. In principle, a temperature above 39 degrees in a 2-year-old is always associated with an urgent visit to the doctor. If the child's well-being is in your opinion correct (he behaves like every day), you should not beat the fever at all costs, because it may end up with an overdose of drugs. You can also use non-pharmacological methods such as cold compresses or lukewarm bath (1-2 degrees lower than the child's body temperature)
