Forxiga helps protect your kidneys from losing function. It reduces renal complications in the course of diabetes. However, it is recommended to monitor your kidney parameters while taking Forxiga. It happens that at the beginning of treatment there is a decrease in GFR (glomerular filtration rate) and an increase in blood creatinine. During the course of therapy, the increase in creatinine levels is transient or reversible after the end of therapy. The studies indicated that the GFR initially decreases and increases after several years of therapy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92331/forxiga-tabletki-powlekane/apteki You can read more about the effect of Forxiga on the kidneys in the reviews: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/87871/forxiga-czy-lek-forxiga-wplywa-negatywnie-na-nerki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/94096/wracam-od-lekarza-nefrologa-gdzie-wyszly-mi-badania-kreatynina-21 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/93508/dzien-dobry-mam-pytanie-od-28-11-2022-biore-lek-forxiga-10mg-jest
