Trioxal is usually not indicated if you are already taking atorvastatin, except if your doctor decides otherwise after careful consideration of the benefits of treatment and the possible risks. Combining these drugs can lead to a significant increase in the concentration of atorvastatin in the blood and thus the risk of side effects, such as liver damage or rhabdomyolysis.
