When using Metypred, it is not recommended to include preparations containing inosine pranobex (Groprinosin, Neosine). Methylprednisolone reduces the possible immunomodulatory effect (strengthening immunity) of Inosine. What's more, there is no evidence that inosine shortens the duration of infection or relieving symptoms. Neosine or Groprinosin is not in any recommendations when it comes to treating viral infections. In colds, we only use medicines that eliminate symptoms such as runny nose, cough, fever or sore throat. In addition, it is necessary to rest and hydrate the body. The common cold usually goes away on its own after a few days. If the condition worsens, then you should see a doctor. More about the cold here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/przeziebienie
