Good evening! I have a contraceptive implant and half of the evra patch (at once, because the patch is to compensate for menstruation, which was disturbed by the implant), I already have a patch on for the 3rd week and I have been experiencing a lot of pain in the lower abdomen for a few days, should I worry about it? My second question is whether the combination of these two methods can reduce the effectiveness of the implant? I'm very afraid of pregnancy and I don't want to fall in. Greetings and thank you in advance for your answer!

Lower abdominal pain may be an adverse reaction of Evra patches. If this hinders your daily functioning, I recommend that you consult this topic with your doctor and consider a possible other form of contraception. If the pain begins to intensify, please urgently consult a gynecologist.
