Good morning, I have been taking for some time, among others, Beto 25 ZK and Letrox 50 drugs. I learned that there is a strong interaction between drugs. So can I combine these drugs? The doctor didn't say anything that it wasn't allowed, but it worried me somewhere.

If your doctor knows that you are taking Beto ZK and Letrox together, please follow his dosage recommendations. There may be an interaction between these drugs, but this does not mean that these preparations can not be combined, if necessary. In general, hypothyroidism can provoke some changes in the hepatic metabolism of drugs such as metoprolol (the active ingredient in Beto ZK). Effective thyroid hormone therapy (levothyroxine in Letrox) can reverse the reduced blood flow through the liver associated with hypothyroidism. This may result in less effectiveness of Beto ZK. The interaction is described as minor and no additional precautions other than regular monitoring and consultation are recommended if the health status changes. I enclose additional information about the drug Beto ZK 25 and the drug Letrox 50 - they can be booked at GdziePoLek and collected stationary upon presentation of the prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/10518/beto-25-zk-tabletki-o-przedluzonym-uwalnianiu/apteki/w-warszawie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/43216/letrox-50-tabletki/apteki/w-warszawie
