Hello. I have a question about insulin Fiasp. What is the smallest refundable package? Because I have the following problem. I have a prescription for 2 op Fiasp 5x3ml (without dosage - to the pump), prescription valid for a year. I bought one package a month ago and the pharmacist does not want to give me the second one, saying that it is not the smallest package covered by the refund.

Theoretically, the smallest reimbursed package is Fiasp in a vial (in 1 pack there is 1000 IU) and it is possible to fill the insulin pump reservoir with it (although I know that patients also fill the reservoirs from cartridges - penfili). In the case of a prescription without dosage, a quantity of a substance equal to the maximum of two smallest packages specified in the list may be dispensed. However, in 1 op. Fiasp penfill contains a total of 1500 units of insulin (which is more than in a vial). In such a situation, it is best to tell the doctor to enter the dosage on the prescription, although it is known that using an insulin pump the days may differ, because the consumption of the drug depends on many factors. In this case, you can enter the number of units that you consume on average per day (e.g. dosage 40j / day). By the way, I would like to remind you that the validity of the prescription is one year if the patient has bought at least one package within 1 month of its issuance.
