For 3 days he has been using Myditin 3mg 3 times a day. I noticed tachycardia after taking this drug. I read that these are side effects / side effects of the drug. The doctor who prescribed it to me is on leave and I wonder if I can add the drug myself. I had to take it for up to 4 days together with Olfen. Please help, thank you

Tachycardia is an adverse reaction observed in less than 1 patient in 100. In the body of the question, you do not mention what heart rate values were recorded before and after the use of the drug. Without this information, it is difficult to say whether elevated heart rhythm values pose a real health risk. You should be aware that early discontinuation of therapy may affect its effect. Therefore, in the event of side effects, it is worth contacting a doctor who, after collecting an anamnesis, will decide whether the benefits of continuing treatment outweigh the possible risks. However, if the side effects cause significant discomfort and you are unable to contact your doctor, you can stop taking the drug. You can read about whether, how and when you can stop taking medication in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-jak-i-kiedy-mozna-odstawic-leki
