The use of nephrotoxic (kidney-damaging drugs), which includes, m.in, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, may increase the risk of renal adverse reactions in patients treated with Tecfidera. For this reason, the proper selection and planning of anti-inflammatory therapy in this situation is the competence of the doctor. Decisions should not be made on your own about the use of over-the-counter drugs from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. ibuprofen, ketoprofen, meloxicam, naproxen).
