At the moment, we do not have enough data to be able to answer this question unequivocally. The few reports (not clinical trials) on the use of B-blockers by nursing women indicated that excretion into milk is largely correlated with the ability of the substance to bind to proteins (the higher the degree of binding, the more the drug passes into the milk). However, none of the cases analysed concerned the use of bisoprolol. Due to the lack of data on whether the substance is excreted in breast milk, the manufacturer does not recommend taking the drug during breastfeeding, unless the benefits of use significantly outweigh the possible side effects. I recommend that you discuss this topic with your doctor and follow his recommendations. If you have any doubts about the use of other drugs during feeding, I invite you to read the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-a-karmienie-piersia
