The maximum daily dose of Berodual for children under 6 years of age weighing less than 22 kg is approximately 25 micrograms of ipratropic bromide and 50 micrograms of phenoterol hydrobromide per 1 kg.m.c. per dose up to a maximum of 0.5 ml (up to 10 drops) up to 3 times a day (i.e. up to 30 drops per day). As the amount of information on the use of Berodual in this age group is small, you should follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor. Inhalations from Berodual and Mucosalvan are best done separately due to the risk of clouding the solution and possible loss of properties of the preparations.
