Is the new diabetes drug TIRZEPATIDE already available in Poland?

We have received information that Mounjaro is now available in wholesalers. The drug in a dose of 2.5 mg (vial 0.5 ml) is already appearing in pharmacies. On the attached page you can check the availability and book the medicine:

When will the drug be in Poland?

To @Zuza: The drug does not affect the effectiveness of birth control pills. According to the manufacturer: "Administration of a combined oral contraceptive (0.035 mg ethinylestradiol with 0.25 mg of norgestimat, a prodrug of norelgestromin) together with a single dose of tirapatide (5 mg) resulted in a decrease in Cmax and area under the curve (AUC) of the oral contraceptive. Ethinylestradiol Cmax was reduced by 59% and AUC by 20% and tmax prolongation was 4 hours. Norelgestromin Cmax was reduced by 55% and AUC by 23%, while tmax prolongation was 4.5 hours. Cmax of norgestimate was reduced by 66% and AUC by 20%, while tmax prolongation was 2.5 hours. This reduction in exposure following a single dose of tirzepatide is not considered clinically relevant. No dose adjustment of oral agents is necessary."

And how does it work on oral contraception?

Is this drug available in the UK Tirzepatide and at what price, how to buy it?

Currently, the drug containing tirzepatide is not yet available in Poland. In May of this year, the drug was approved for use in the USA. It is available under the trade name Mounjaro. The manufacturer of the drug is the company Eli Lilly. I have already settled with the Polish branch of the company. As soon as I can determine when the drug is to appear in Poland, I will post information under this post.
