Why you can not take Flucofast together with vit. A? What is the distance between preparations to avoid interaction?

There are no reports of interaction between retinyl acetate and fluconazole. Substances can be used together.

So the preparation with retinyl acetate is safe to use with Flucofast? Or not?

According to current knowledge, an interaction may occur between Flucofast and the acid form of vitamin A (tretinoin). "A single case has been reported in which one patient receiving combination therapy with all-trans-retinoic acid (an acid form of vitamin A) and fluconazole experienced CNS adverse reactions in the form of pseudo-brain tumours that resolved after discontinuation of fluconazole. This combination may be used, but the possibility of CNS adverse reactions should be taken into account." Both the half-life of fluconazole (the active substance of Flucofast) and tretnoin is long, so it is worth using a larger time interval between taking both preparations, e.g. one of the preparations should be taken in the morning, the other in the evening. The use of a time interval in this case is not a guarantee of the absence of interaction. When taking Flucofast concomitantly with preparations containing tretinoin, the dosage instructions given by the prescribing physician should be followed and any side effects, especially from the central nervous system, should be reported immediately.
