Will chewing a capsule of Izotek result in reduced effectiveness of the treatment?

Good morning, I started treatment with Izotek, but I do not manage to swallow tablets, so will chewing such a capsule cause reduced effectiveness of treatment or worsen my health?

Izotek is in the form of capsules. Capsules are not subject to splitting, they should be taken whole. The capsules should be taken with food. The capsule is designed to reach the stomach, and sometimes further to the intestines and there release the substance that is to be absorbed. By chewing the capsules or swallowing only their contents, we lead to a situation where part of the active substance is deposited for some time in the throat and esophagus. It is also treated with hydrochloric acid from the stomach and digestive enzymes for longer. It follows that such a procedure may affect the absorption and effective action of the preparation.
