Does menstruation go away with Endovelle?

Does menstruation go away with Endovelle? Can possible bleeding be treated as menstruation or a side effect of using this drug – should the treatment be changed when consulting a doctor?

Most women treated with Endovelle experience changes in the menstrual bleeding profile such as spotting, irregular bleeding or menstruation may not occur at all. Such an effect is described in side effects, but this does not mean that it is necessary to stop treatment - this is the result of taking the hormone. Other single-component drugs also have a similar profile of effects on the exfoliation of the endometrium. Although Endovelle is not a contraceptive, the available data show that ovulation is inhibited in most patients during treatment with dienogest (the active ingredient in Endovelle). So it is difficult to talk about the preserved cycle and natural menstruation. However, the severity of bleeding in patients with uterine fibroids should be of concern. According to the endovelle documentation: "If the bleeding is heavy and persists for a long time, this can lead to a decrease in the number of red blood cells (anemia), which can be severe in some cases. If you have anaemia, talk to your doctor if you need to stop taking Endovelle."
