According to the Summary of Product Characteristics: "In most patients with active duodenal ulcer, recovery occurs within 4 weeks. However, some patients may require an additional 4 weeks of treatment. In most patients with active, mild gastric ulcers, recovery occurs within 6 weeks. However, some patients may require another 6 weeks of treatment." The doctor, of course, based on the current clinical condition of the patient, may decide otherwise.
