Hello. My 4 month old daughter rejected her breast. She had acute colic and problems with the tummy then the pediatrician prescribed us bebilon pepti syneo in case I could not feed my daughter because at the beginning my lactation was hard to start. We did not use this milk until today when the daughter does not want to eat from the breast. We also bought a regular bebilon but I noticed that the daughter has strong gases after it that can wake her up at night and does not regularly poop like after pepti? Does the daughter have to be permanently on pepti?

The daughter will not have to be on Bebilon Pepti milk all the time, but at this point it looks like it is the milk that is best suited to her. Milk, after which it is evident that it is harmful to the baby, should be stopped immediately. Bebilon Pepti Syneo is a hypoallergenic milk powder intended for feeding infants suffering from food allergies. Milk contains a composition of GOS/FOS oligosaccharides and probiotic bacteria that reduce the risk of allergies, should be used in children after prior consultation with a pediatrician. Usually, exposure to the allergen (in this case, non-hydrolyzed cow's milk protein) takes place at the earliest 6 months after the introduction of the elimination diet, but this should be decided by the pediatrician. I recommend at this point to follow the guidelines received from the pediatrician and make changes at the time he appoints.
