Does Creon have a protective effect on the pancreas?

Good morning, does Kreon also have a protective function for the pancreas? I know the description of the action only ask if it also has such an action? Are there any preparations that have such a function in the case of the pancreas?

No, Creon contains in its composition only a mixture of enzymes commonly called Pancreatin, which are involved in the digestion of food, it has no protective function on the pancreas. The basis for the protection of the pancreas is the observance of the diet and the complete abandonment of drinking alcohol and smoking. Herbal preparations containing m.in mother herb, dandelion root, dill fruit, nettle root, celandine herb, as well as vitamins A, D, E, K, B vitamins and antioxidants (e.g. vitamins C and E, zinc, selenium) can be used as an adjunct. More information about the drug can be found at the link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/41624/kreon-25000-kapsulki/ I recommend entries: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-trzustka-moze-bolec https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-na-zapalenie-trzustki
