Does Xyzal cause flu-like symptoms?

Good morning, I use xyzal according to the recommendations of the ENT (chronic otitis). Already after the first day (and I'm in the third) I started to feel sick, and my condition is getting worse with each passing day (I excluded covid). I have the impression that this happens after the drug that I take before bedtime. Flu-like symptoms: drowsiness, muscle pain, outflowing discharge and tiring cough. Is it possible that it is after the drug? I still use Nasonex inhaled. Best regards.

If during treatment the condition worsens instead of improving, you should see a doctor. A characteristic side effect of Xyzal among those mentioned by you is drowsiness, the others are non-specific. During treatment with levocetirizine, contained in the drug, dryness of the mucous membranes is often observed, so, for example, cough may be related to this, but the situation requires the assessment of a doctor. The drug Nasonex is used intranasally, not inhaled - below I give a link to the leaflet with iconography on how to apply the aerosol. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/51631/nasonex-aerozol/ulotka/192406 More information about the drug Xyzal: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/84750/xyzal-tabletki-powlekane I also recommend entries: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/leki-na-alergie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/zapalenie-ucha-jak-leczyc-i-zapobiegac
