Can I go back to Nonpres if my nephrologist told me to stop taking it? I have high blood pressure.

Mrs. NEFROLOG ordered discontinuation of nonpres due to exceeded potassium levels and kidney failure. after 6 weeks, potassium levels returned to normal. can I now go back to the nonpresu, because I noticed that recently my blood pressure jumped, and in return the nonpresu I did not take anything?

To the best of my knowledge, this is a question for your nephrologist. Nonpres is a prescription drug and if your doctor has advised you to discontinue it due to kidney failure, please contact them as to what treatment they could offer in return or if you should return to the medicine again. Unfortunately, I am not able to answer your question. The only thing I can recommend is to take pressure measurements at different times of the day and record the results so that the doctor has an insight into your results. In case of very high pressure and malaise, please contact your doctor as soon as possible. I leave a link to the analysis of blood pressure monitors: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jaki-cisnieniomierz-wybrac
