All human medicines should be given to the animal only under the supervision of a veterinarian! If the veterinarian did not provide precise information about the condition of the animal and the possibility of treatment, I would advise you to consult the problem with another wet doctor. Paresis usually results from paralysis of a specific group of nerves. Contracture can also be associated with damage to muscle parts. Additional diagnostics, implementation of analgesic treatment and - if such a recommendation appears - contact with a zoophysiotherapist who will assess the possibility of the dog returning to fitness (and instruct the owner how to help the animal).
