The picflometer has three zones marked with red, yellow and green. The normal PEF (peak expiratory flow) value in a healthy person should be between 400 and 600 l/minute. Individual indicators are delimited by the following levels of PEF value determination: - green - range 80-100 % of the maximum value of the designation, i.e. a marker at the level of approx. 480 l /minute - yellow - range 60-80 % of the maximum value of the determination, i.e. a marker at the level of approx. 360 l/minute - red - range below 60% of the maximum value of the determination. Here the marker can be set at the very bottom. The above information has been taken from the available literature. Please check the correct values on the instruction manual of your Picflometer. Usually, for specific equipment, the correct values are given either on the packaging or in the instruction manual. Medical equipment and medicines used should be kept out of the sight and reach of children. This prevents, for example, possible mechanical damage.
