The contraindication to alcohol consumption during treatment with Baclofen is mainly due to the fact that alcohol may increase the undesirable effects of the drug, such as drowsiness. Alcohol (especially in small doses, e.g. as an additive to a cake) does not significantly increase the toxicity of this drug to the liver.
