Is it possible to apply the first Evra patch on the 2nd or 3rd day of menstruation?

Hello. I will be using Evra patches for the first time, I have not used contraception before. From what I read, I should put on a patch on the first day of menstruation. What if I did not do it, can it be glued on the second or third day?

You can apply the first Evra patch on the 2nd or 3rd day of menstruation. In this case, additional contraceptive methods (e.g. condoms) should be used for the first 7 days of using the patch, as the contraceptive protection of the patch may be impaired. I encourage you to carefully read the leaflet of the patches: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/ulotka and the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/plastry-antykoncepcyjne

To @Nika: Yes, you can stick the first Evra patch on day 4 of your period using an additional contraceptive method for the first 7 days.

And whether on the 4th day of menstruation it is possible to stick on the same principle?

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
