Is there a possibility that I am pregnant, or is it rather the effect of stopping the pills?

Good evening. On July 31 I did a pregnancy test that came out negative (6 weeks after intercourse) period I was supposed to get 28.07 but still none, I stopped taking birth control pills at the beginning of June, the last period I had was 30.06-05.07. Is there a possibility that I am pregnant or is it rather the effect of stopping the pills?

A pregnancy test performed 6 weeks after intercourse should detect pregnancy, since the concentration of the pregnancy hormone at this stage would be very high. After discontinuation of contraceptive pills, sometimes the cycles may be initially irregular. Amenorrhea within 10-14 days of the expected date should prompt you to visit a gynecologist. In general, the menstrual cycle is considered regular and normal if it lasts 28 days (plus/minus 5 days and the number of days of the cycle is about the same in subsequent cycles.
