Hello. I have been taking Asertin for a long time and can taking this medicine cause the gums to recede?

Gum retraction is not explicitly mentioned in the asertin side effect documentation. However, this does not mean that it is not possible. Asertin can cause increased dry mouth, which creates a risk of complications of the oral mucosa and, as a far cry, of gum retraction. In the first place, however, I recommend consulting a dentist to exclude other causes of this problem.
