How can Metypred be safely discontinued so that there are no withdrawal effects?

Good morning. . I take metryped for 5 days three times one tablet, then for 5 days twice one tablet and for 5 days one tablet and discontinue. Is it possible to wean it will not have the effects of withdrawal.? If I take one tablet twice a day around 10.30 a.m. and another at 4.30 p.m. or later? Please reply.

This is a good way to stop taking Metypred, due to the fact that its half-life is 18-36 hours. Using the drug 2 x a day means taking it every 12 hours. If you want to take the drug at 10.30, the second dose falls around 22.30.
