In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

To @Monika1: Unfortunately not. To receive the drug at a discount, it is necessary to meet the criteria , which we wrote about below. The certificate you write about will not entitle you to receive a discount.
Thank you for your reply. I have one more question. Can a discount on Ozempic be entitled to, for example, an opinion / certificate from a diabetologist stating about the undeniable benefit of using this drug in the treatment of obesity?

No, the payment of 30% (currently it is PLN 107.32) is due only to patients with type 2 diabetes, meeting additional, quite strict criteria that must be met jointly: before switching on insulin, treated with at least two oral hypoglycemic drugs for at least 6 months, with HbA1c ≥ 8%, with obesity defined as BMI ≥35 kg / m2 and very high cardiovascular risk understood as: 1) confirmed cardiovascular disease, or 2) damage to other organs manifested by: proteinuria or left ventricular hypertrophy or retinopathy, or 3) the presence of 2 or more major risk factors among those listed below: -age ≥ 55 years for men, ≥60 years for women, -dyslipidemia, -hypertension, -smoking.
