Good morning. I took the Escapelle pill after 10 hours of intercourse, in which another contraceptive failed. Today, about 35 hours after taking the tablet, I did an ovulation test. It came out positive. I suffer from pcos, the last menstruation appeared in March, but I was in the process of taking Duphaston (to induce menstruation). Should the result of this test bother me and are there actually chances of pregnancy?

For women with polycystic ovary syndrome, the test will not work correctly because LH levels can be elevated several times in one menstrual cycle. Duphaston does not impair the effectiveness of escapelle tablets. Therefore, in your case, the risk of pregnancy is small.
