Good morning, does the D-dimer score of 730 at the norm of 500 exclude me from putting on a contraceptive implant? I will add that I have been taking two-component contraceptive pills for 3 years and in September the results were normal during the tests.

A high level of D-Dimers is not a contraindication to the use of a contraceptive implant. The risk of thromboembolism with the use of an implant is lower than when using two-component contraceptive pills. Changing the method of contraception is worth discussing with your gynecologist.
