Can Trittico CR and Zolmiles be used together?

It is not recommended to combine Trittico CR with Zolmiles due to the increased risk of serotonin syndrome. The active substances of both drugs, i.e. in the case of Trittico CR - trazodone and Zolmiles - zolmitriptan, intensify serotonergic transmission. Simultaneous use of these preparations will intensify this effect, which may lead to serotonin syndrome, i.e. too high levels of serotonin in the body. During the medical history, it is worth informing the attending physician about all the medicines taken so far. This will make it easier to choose a safe and effective pharmacotherapy.
