I am 72 years old and have atrial fibrillation. Which drug will be better for me - Pradaxa or Eliquis?

Pradaxa and Eliquis contain different substances, but both belong to a relatively new group of anticoagulants called NOAC. The indication for the use of both drugs is non-valvular atrial fibrillation accompanied by at least one of the factors such as: diabetes, heart failure of the upper or equal class II according to NYHA, stroke or transient ischemic stroke and age ≥75 years. Drugs have a very similar profile of action, they may differ in contraindications or individual response to the treatment of the patient's body.
